Sage Fly Reels
Sage fly reels are an assortment of carefully designed and assembled reels that take fish retrieval to the next level. Unlike rival company brands, these reels are closely inspected and are pushed in a tight side-by-side comparison against each other. The end result is an unparalleled balance between torque and torsion - control and strength.
The lighter models of these reels come with a thin line and big knobs that assist in retrieval of 5 – 10 Lbs. catches. Meanwhile, a heavy line set is offered to handle 30- 45 Lbs. category fish hunting. Sage have paid an equal amount of attention to all fly reel models, in order to ensure the presence of an air tight reel chamber.
Most of the Sage Fly Reels house a single screw based uplock mechanism, anti-reverse feature and medium to extra-large size arbors. A minimum of 3.1:1 gear ratio can be easily noted in earliest reel models, while the latest ones have a gear ratio of 4.1:1 – 5.3:1.
